On May 25, 2026, Qingzhou Jinqi Mining Machinery completed loading and shipment of the placer gold processing equipment unit bound for Namibia.The whole consignment is transported via three ocean freight containers, consisting mainly of gold washing trommel, Nelson centrifugal gold concentrator, hydraulic vibrating gold sluice, fixed sluice, diesel generator set and high-pressure water pump unit.
The client’s mine is located in the coastal placer gold belt of Namibia, with ores dominated by fine-grained placer gold.Production capacity requirement: the hourly processing capacity shall be no less than 280 t/h, with 350 t/h as the optimal capacity, and the overall gold recovery rate shall be over 90%.The mine has no stable grid power supply, so the system shall be equipped with diesel generators. In view of the water scarcity in Namibia, an alternative water supply and process standby solution is required.
To meet the above requirements, we recommend the following customized project configuration for the client:
We provide a 300-ton/hour rated-capacity rotary drum mineral washer, with a maximum processing capacity of 420 tons per hour. The supporting equipment includes two Nelson centrifugal gold concentrators, three hydraulic pulsating gold sluices, five fixed sluices, and one 300KW Weichai diesel generator. The fine gold separation and smelting system is composed of shaking tables and a gold melting furnace, matched with high-pressure water pumping pipelines.
To solve the problem of local water scarcity, we advise the client to build a three-stage sedimentation tank as a standby water recycling solution on-site. Our professional team will be responsible for on-site equipment installation. Meanwhile, our staff will guide the client’s personnel to complete the construction of the three-stage sedimentation tank at the mining site.
Working Process
1. Feeding
Raw ore is fed into the hopper by excavators, loaders and engineering trucks, then flushed into the screening system via high-pressure water cannons.
2. Screening & Ore Washing
Under high-pressure water flushing, the rotary drum washer separates mud and gravel to produce qualified ore pulp.
3. Gravity Gold Concentration
Ore pulp flows into hydraulic pulsating sluices and centrifugal concentrators, as well as fixed sluices. Gold grains are concentrated relying on the specific gravity difference between gold and gangue.
4. Concentrate Collection & Refining
Gold concentrate (heavy concentrate) is collected periodically. Collected concentrates are transported to a secure area for further upgrading by shaking tables, then smelted in the gold melting furnace and stored after smelting.
5. Tailings Discharge
Tailings are discharged collectively or settled for backfilling, with process water recycled for repeated use.
