Mr. Linghu signed a lake and reservoir dredging project in 2017. Initially, he purchased large dredgers that suffered low output, frequent malfunctions, unsatisfactory operating performance, poor economic benefits and construction delays. In 2018, the client chose to cooperate with Qingzhou Jinqi Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. We customized the design and production of dredgers tailored to the actual demands of his dredging project.

The client ultimately selected a 12-inch cutter suction dredger (CSD). The hull is constructed from classification society certified steel plates, and it is powered by a Weichai marine engine. It boasts a dredging depth of 14 meters, a discharge distance of 2,000 meters, and a clean water flow rate of 2,000 cubic meters per hour. It can stably remove over 300 cubic meters of riverbed silt per hour.

Upon confirming the above client requirements, Qingzhou Jinqi Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. completed the production of this 12-inch CSD within 50 working days. In accordance with the client’s specifications, we dispatched our installation team to the project site for on-site construction and commissioning.

To date, this cutter suction dredger has been in service for 8 years, having been deployed across more than a dozen projects. It has recently been reassembled at a reservoir dredging project in Hubei Province and is ready to commence operations. We look forward to its continued outstanding performance.
